Suitable to process GLUETEX Hotmelt adhesive tapes are Ultrasonic- Hot Air- and High Frequency-Glue- and Welding machines. Not reinforced tapes are used, if there are no special demand concerning the strengthness of the joining and the stretching of the fabric. For awnings fabrics, where the warp thread will be stretched, because of wind and arm tension, an additional device is needed for the glueing machine, to pre-stretch the fabric before glueing. The result is, that the appearing forces will be taken from the almost stretch free glued joints or the adhesive tapes. Very important for GLUETEX is the cooperation with suppliers and manufacturers of the machines to have a wide range of production engineering. Still the development of the adhesive tapes und the necessary machinery is a young technology, with daily new discoveries and findings.
